Peter Cavell (James. Book, music, and lyrics)
Peter is a composer, writer, actor, pianist, and sound artist...in no particular order. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Music, majoring in composition, and completed a Masters degree in composition at the University of Victoria. Some of Peter’s recent creative projects include his short play Lead Us Not Into Temptation (2008 Grand Theatre Playwrights Cabaret), the multimedia drama Walking the Labyrinth (2007 London Fringe), the one-man show As I Was Going Up the Stair (2007 London One-Act Festival, awarded Best Male Actor in a Lead Role), and the Brickenden-winning original musical The Devil Loves to Haggle with Jonathan De Souza (2003 London Fringe Festival). This summer, in addition to presenting Death! in the London Fringe, Peter will be touring Walking the Labyrinth to the Toronto and Ottawa Fringe Festivals. Peter's interests include creating accessible yet experimental interdisciplinary works that combine drama, music, words, sound, and (sometimes) humour.
