Megan Phillips – Writer, Cast

Megan is from Vancouver, BC. She holds a BA (Music Hons) from the University of Western Ontario, and an MA (Musical Theatre Performance) from Mountview Academy in London, UK. Fancy right? Megan has also studied at Circle in the Square Theatre School in NYC, and with a bunch of instructors in Vancouver. Her favourite theatre/musical performances are: Evelyn in Homecoming King (world premiere, 30 Below Theatre), Fay in Here on the Flight Path (Metro Theatre), and Georgeanne in 5 Women Wearing the Same Dress (BR Productions). Her solo show Breaking Velocity has played in Toronto, Vancouver, and NYC at various festivals. She’s done a bunch more theatre, webseries, and indie films, but her favourite project to date has been one quarter of the all-girl sketch comedy group STRAPLESS COMEDY, which sold out its 2013 Vancouver Fringe and Gabriola Island shows, and got wicked reception in 2014 Montreal & Toronto Fringes. She also does standup and is super duper psyched to be taking her first Second City class this summer. How this creative team agreed to do her stupid idea of a show she will never know. All the love ever to Pete for being such a ridiculously awesome writing partner. Enjoy the show and we hope you get the same catharsis we did!
